About the Role:

The Human Resources Coordinator is an essential member of the HR team and supports the HR Business Partner with administrative and operational activities. As the HR Coordinator you will be responsible for supporting our recruitment efforts, content creation, participation in Diversity & Inclusion events, curating team member onboarding and separation experiences, and maintaining up-to-date data in our HR information system for a staff of approximately 100 full-time employees.

Based out of the San Francisco office, the HR Coordinator is eligible to participate in our Flexible Workplace where you may work from home 3 to 4 days out of the week.


Summary of Responsibilities:

  • Updating and maintaining Paylocity, our Human Resources Information System (HRIS). This includes our Community social page, Learning, Expense, Recruitment, and Onboarding pages.
  • Support CRI’s recruiting efforts through posting of employment opportunities, track submitted applications, coordinate interviews, and send weekly candidate pipeline updates to management.
  • Initiate and monitor background check process for new hires
  • Assist in conducting new hire orientation and onboarding sessions, as well as employee separation processes
  • Assist the HR Business Partner and Payroll & Benefits Manager with HR administrative tasks, including entering data, running reports, and auditing data for accuracy and compliance.
  • Create & provide hire, change, and exit documents upon request.
  • Participates in and helps in administrative support of our Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), such as, Diversity and inclusion & Corporate Social Responsibility, etc.
  • Conducts training events for new and current team members on how to use company systems and tools
  • Facilitate and process employee leaves, separations, and terminations as needed, schedule exit interviews and administer exit surveys for departing team members.
  • Assist the HR Business Partner with analyzing data around turnover and recruitment
  • Supports the annual performance review process, including preparing materials and scheduling trainings and review sessions for staff
  • Maintain accurate and current HR files, records, and documentation on Microsoft Teams and SharePoint pages.
  • Ensures all legal and employment postings are visible and current.
  • Maintain the integrity and confidentiality of all human resource activities.
  • Assist with answering questions from team members.

Desired Experience/Skills:

  • Provide excellent customer service, both internally and externally
  • Working knowledge of Human Resources concepts, practices, programs, and methodologies.
  • Interact with all levels of staff with professionalism, confidentiality, and sensitivity to employee and company information
  • Consistently operate with excellent time management, prioritization, decision-making & problem-solving skills to meet service level agreements
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and Paylocity or other Recruitment/HRIS.
  • Excellent communication and relationship skills with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Work in an organized manner and have good multitasking and analytical skills, including a penchant for highly detailed processes.
  • 2+ years of experience as a Talent Acquisition Coordinator, HR Coordinator, or Recruiting Coordinator
  • Bi-lingual in Spanish is not required but is preferred.
