Marketing Manager

Chmura Economics & Analytics, LLC (“Chmura”) is a leading economic advisory and technology development firm specializing in “big data” analytics. We have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Manager who will lead Chmura’s marketing efforts. This position will be responsible for providing guidance to our marketing department by evaluating and developing marketing strategies, planning and coordinating marketing efforts, communicating the market plans to those involved, and building awareness and positioning for our company’s brands. 

This position is based out of our Richmond, VA office. 

Responsibilities:

  • Establish positioning, identify target audiences, and develop marketing plans with specific objectives across different channels and segments. 
  • Lead the execution of marketing programs from start to finish, leveraging internal support and driving collaboration.
  • Develop and implement marketing plans, including promotional calendars and programs, new product introduction, and other marketing projects.
  • Analyze customer insights, consumer trends, market analysis, and marketing best practices to build successful strategies. 
  • Create, maintain, and conduct analytics reporting across multiple platforms and extract key insights for future campaign development and go-to-market strategies.
  • Partner with the Sales team to design, test, and evolve lead generation tactics.
  • Build brand awareness and positioning. 
  • Oversee the operation of Chmura’s website and email marketing program. 
  • Oversee social media marketing strategy and content marketing. 
  • Help organize company conferences and other major events. 
  • Other duties as assigned. 
Requirements
  • At least three to five years of applicable marketing experience. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field. 
  • Master’s degree preferred. 
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills. 
  • Proven experience developing marketing plans and campaigns.
  • Strong project management, multitasking, and decision-making skills. 
  • Data-driven marketing mind with eye for creativity. 
  • Experience with marketing automation and CRM tools.
