Recruiting and Onboarding Coordinator (PART TIME 10-20 hours weekly)

Skillable is seeking a PART TIME Recruiting and Onboarding Coordinator to assist in the recruitment and hiring of new employees. The Recruiting and Onboarding Coordinator will facilitate the collection and posting of various roles, will screen new candidates and will work with managers to interview and hire qualified applicants. They will assist with various elements of the new employee onboarding and hiring process, as well as maintain our company profile on various job sites.

Reporting Structure

The Recruiting & Onboarding Coordinator will report directly to the Senior Vice President of People and Culture.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Sourcing candidates using a variety of search methods, to build a robust candidate pipeline.
  2. Pre-screen candidates by reviewing resumes and job applications and performing phone screenings. 
  3. Manage the interview process through interview scheduling and follow-up with applicants within interviewing process.
  4. Extend offers of employment and collect new hire documents.
  5. Ensure managers and supervisors stay abreast of all recruitment and onboarding activity, throughout the new hire process.
  6. Manage pre-employment assessments and skill assessments.
  7. Initiate background checks for new hires. Complete reference checks.
  8. Design and post positions appropriately on job boards, internally and externally.
  9. Maintain Glassdoor and Indeed branded social media presence.
  10. Enhance employment brand by facilitating a positive candidate experience for both hired candidates and candidates not hired.
  11. Track status of  candidates in HRIS and ATS and ensure follow-up letters are sent at the  appropriate point(s) in the recruiting process. Close job postings and update ATS accordingly.
  12. Complete new  hire paperwork for all new hires.

The ideal candidate is outgoing, friendly, tech savvy, and very comfortable on video calls. You are a good judge of character and can quickly assess a candidates suitability for a role. You are the first point of contact for new candidates make an excellent first impression. You understand how modern job seekers think and act and are an excellent communicator keeping managers and candidates up to date at all times. You are task driven, detail oriented, prompt, and thorough.  You have a passion for excellent customer service and want every candidate to have an exceptional experience during the screening and hiring process.

You are able to work varying hours to accommodate candidate schedules and interviews that may be during non-business hours depending on the time zone of the candidate.

Salary $20-$25/Hour pending experience and qualifications
