Erlanger Express Care is currently seeking a Radiology Technologist. The tech will provide direct positioning and x-ray imaging to patients in our Urgent Care health clinics across Chattanooga and the surrounding areas.

Typical schedules may consist of 12 hour shifts.

Clinic hours are Monday-Thursday 8:00 am - 8:00 pm, Friday 8:00 am - 6:00 pm, Saturday 9:00 am - 4:00 pm, and Sunday 9:00 pm - 4:00 pm, but are subject to change.

This is a PRN position and does not offer any benefits.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Operate or oversee operation of radiology or magnetic imaging equipment to produce images of the body for diagnostic purposes.
• Explain procedures and observe patients to ensure safety and comfort during scan.
• Ensures imaging equipment is proper operating condition.
• Manages necessary imaging supplies.
• Nursing duties including measuring and recording patients' vital signs and perform clinical tasks
• Supporting all team members in all clinic operations to ensure the highest quality patient care possible.

Education

• A graduate of an approved JRCERT radiology program (The Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiology Technology).
• ARRT certification required
• State License required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, current

Qualifications

• Preferred: Prior hospital and/or physician office background
• Preferred: Nursing experience
• Professional appearance at all times.
• Must be able to lift 25 lbs and stand/sit for extended periods of time
• Excellent verbal and communication skills
• Experience with EMR systems
• Adaptable in differing situations.
• Able to multi-task and work independently.
• Must be flexible with hours/shifts.
• Must be able to work weekends and hours listed above.
