Description
- Reports to the Project Superintendent or Senior Project Superintendent, if assigned.
- The Assistant Project Superintendent Position is intended to be a learning, support, light management, and mentoring position in the Company
- An Assistant Project Superintendent should get alignment with the Project Superintendent or Senior Project Superintendent regarding management decisions.
- Train Field Coordinators and other Assistant Project Superintendents in learning the basics of construction and M&C Playbook.
- Stationed on a project site
- Can be assigned to an individual project for the duration of that project or can be moved between projects.
- Participate in an Internal Handoff Meeting for each project assigned.
- Participate in Internal Team meetings.
- Reference and utilize the M&C Playbook for Company standards on various deliverables.
- If a Field Coordinator has not been assigned to a project then the Assistant Project Superintendent will be responsible for the tasks of the Field Coordinator and assist the Project Superintendent or Senior Project Superintendent, if assigned, with the following:
- Generating Meeting Agenda’s and Meeting Minutes for Subcontractor Meetings
- Assist with Procore Documentation including:
- Daily Logs
- Pictures
- Submittals
- RFI’s
- Other
- Schedule management
- Leading portions of Subcontractor meetings
- Assist in Managing the following processes:
- Safety
- Envelope Plans
- Submittals
- Shop Drawings
- RFI’s
- Plan Changes
- Specification Changes
- Completion Lists
- Procurement Log
- Occupancy Matrix
- Punch Lists
- Subcontractor Work Installations
- Quality Control / Quality Assurance
- Staging / Logistics / Site Cleanliness
- Assist the Project Team with any daily activities as requested.
