Assistant Project Superintendent
Description
  • Reports to the Project Superintendent or Senior Project Superintendent, if assigned.
  • The Assistant Project Superintendent Position is intended to be a learning, support, light management, and mentoring position in the Company
  • An Assistant Project Superintendent should get alignment with the Project Superintendent or Senior Project Superintendent regarding management decisions.
  • Train Field Coordinators and other Assistant Project Superintendents in learning the basics of construction and M&C Playbook.
  • Stationed on a project site
  • Can be assigned to an individual project for the duration of that project or can be moved between projects.
  • Participate in an Internal Handoff Meeting for each project assigned.
  • Participate in Internal Team meetings.
  • Reference and utilize the M&C Playbook for Company standards on various deliverables.
  • If a Field Coordinator has not been assigned to a project then the Assistant Project Superintendent will be responsible for the tasks of the Field Coordinator and assist the Project Superintendent or Senior Project Superintendent, if assigned, with the following:
  • Generating Meeting Agenda’s and Meeting Minutes for Subcontractor Meetings
  • Assist with Procore Documentation including:
  • Daily Logs
  • Pictures
  • Submittals
  • RFI’s
  • Other
  • Schedule management
  • Leading portions of Subcontractor meetings
  • Assist in Managing the following processes:
  • Safety
  • Envelope Plans
  • Submittals
  • Shop Drawings
  • RFI’s
  • Plan Changes
  • Specification Changes
  • Completion Lists
  • Procurement Log
  • Occupancy Matrix
  • Punch Lists
  • Subcontractor Work Installations
  • Quality Control / Quality Assurance
  • Staging / Logistics / Site Cleanliness
  • Assist the Project Team with any daily activities as requested.
