Description
The LD Products E-Mail Marketing Manager will own, build, maintain, optimize, and report on our e-mail, SMS, and push notification programs and campaigns. We want a work from home Rockstar who knows e-mail and wants the benefit of no commute. This will require a dynamic and detail-oriented marketer who can learn quickly, be a part of a larger team but also work independently, operate at scale, and execute delivery – with acute attention to detail – in a fast-paced environment. You will work closely with acquisition marketing, retention marketing, e-commerce team, and design team to improve communications and send the right message at the right time to the right audience.
The Expectation for Success
- Develop and manage our comprehensive email marketing program to acquire new customers and retain existing customers.
- Be a subject matter expert and provide strategy and best practices for email, SMS, and push notification deliverability and content to ensure optimal performance and drive demand.
- Work with Retention Marketing Manager to build triggered campaigns to increase retention and increase LTV.
- Collaborate with marketing and business stakeholders to deliver key business goals.
- Build effective target audiences and segments to drive email engagement.
- Measures success of email campaigns against KPIs.
- Create and manage email marketing calendar for both internal and third-party emails.
- Create and design call-to-actions (CTAs) and email templates. Ensures emails are aligned with best practices, actionable, brand compliant, and that all call-to-actions are in place and reportable.
- Develops documentation and road maps for processes, A/B tests, and promotions that succeed through email.
- Project manage content and creative to create and deploy emails in a timely manner.
- Build, maintain, and regularly provide updates to key stakeholder regarding email programs and campaigns that can inform data-driven decisions or provide recommendations for improvements and efficiencies.
- Craft and execute A/B tests, manage a comprehensive testing calendar, analyze results, and advise on improvements with campaign partners.
- Perform email rendering tests across devices and email clients to ensure that communications display correctly. across our lead database.
- Partner with analytics and development teams to leverage data and define new requirements.
- Maintain email database health, acceptable unsubscribe rates, and legal compliance
Requirements
Qualifications & Requirements
- 4+ years of experience managing and delivering results for B2C or B2B email marketing campaigns.
- Strong background in audience targeting and segmentation.
- Knowledge of SMS and push notification marketing a plus.
- Experience proofing and editing email copy and creative for demand generation.
- Strong project management skills and ability to execute multiple campaigns at a given time.
- Proven track record in a fast-paced environment and organizational skills to manage multiple projects with flawless execution, delivering under a tight deadline.
- You have an eagle eye for accuracy when editing copy and raw HTML code.
- Experience with 2 or more e-mail providers a plus.
- A high degree of initiative, self-motivation, and resourcefulness to work remote.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with actionable reporting for stakeholders.
- Experience working within a matrixed organization with multiple teams like acquisition, retention, and e-commerce marketing.
- Technically capable, excellent communicator, and a desire to improve processes.
- Bachelor’s degree.
