This position is to fill the role of Senior Technical Business Analyst for the rapid development and implementation engineering scrum team. The role of STBA will work closely with the team’s Director of Director of Solution Architecture in Development to respond to the day-to-day work required to support the transitional process of taking a project plan or directive and implementing the solution through a software development lifecycle. The STBA can also be defined as a bridge between the Business Requirements defined and technology solutions. This includes business problems about business systems, for example the model, process, or method defined by and in support of the product business requirements. The technology solutions can be the use of review and validate technology architecture, tools, or software application. The STBA will be required to analyze, transform and ultimately resolve the business problems with the help of technology.
This individual is responsible for the documentation of requirements as defined by the business users and client stake holders. The business analyst must ensure that designs meet a company's technical standards. Also, the individual is responsible for helping the Director of Director of Solution Architecture in Development to remove blockers identified by the engineers as well as effectively communicating with the delivery team and client stake holders to ensure that the project’s objectives and timelines are being met.
• Daily activities
o Working with the delivery team, clients and vendors during discovery in order to gather and document requirements (i.e. data-mapping, connection details, system credentials)
o Documenting requirements using Bridge Connector best practices (tools and processes)
o Reviewing the engineer’s standups, accessing their progress based on project timelines and deliverables and responding accordingly to ensure that delivery timelines are met and/or communicating risks to the necessary stake holders.
o Reviewing engineering team blockers and working with the appropriate resource(s) to remove blockers in order to maintain team efficiency.
o Diagraming data flow and workflows.
o Data models, i.e. data requirements expressed as a documented data model.
o Business case, a strategic plan containing shareholders' risk and return
• Technical Competency
o Must have a functional understanding of: HL7, VPNs, Web Services (SOAP and REST), FHIR, Relational Databases, XML, ANSI X12, C-CDA, Acute/Post-Acute EMR systems, CRM, Enterprise and SaaS-based software technologies.
o Ability to apply knowledge across complex business areas.
o Demonstrated ability to think and apply strategic direction by considering a broad range of internal and external factors.
o Strong customer focus and interpersonal skills.

Education and Experience
• Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in Computer Science, Business or a related field.
• More than 7 years of relevant software implementation and support (healthcare IT experience preferred).
• Familiarity with Agile Software development (Kanban and Scrum)
