Please note this position can report to our HQ in Carmel, IN or our regional office in St. Paul, MN.
The Cash Account Manager will manage a team that is dedicated to providing operational support to various departments within the company. This position requires a detailed-oriented individual who can manage multiple tasks and requests from multiple teams. Management skills to successfully lead a team and provide guidance and assistance to the team members. Time management is also very important as the volume of work can sometimes be very high and have conflicting deadlines. The position will require someone who has a good understanding of accounting and experience with multifamily fees and loans is a plus.
Expected Outcomes: Success in this position will ensure accurate and compliant tracking of cash movement on third-party application fees, servicing transactions, and data management. This will greatly impact the service provided to customers and investors.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage and mentor Cash Management Team
- Oversee accounting of third-party loan fees
- Maintain and update servicing system to ensure proper fees are entered
- Review and approve daily money movement requests
- Assist with the balancing of service fees and loan advances
Expected Experience, Skills and Education:
- Prior multifamily mortgage banking and/or property management experience preferred
- Must demonstrate ability to understand and interpret requirements of loan documents
- Must demonstrate the ability to successfully manage the demands of multiple deadlines while working as a team player
- Must possess strong organization and communication skills with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail
- Proficiency with learning new systems and computer software such as Microsoft Office
- Bachelors degree from an accredited institution preferred
