Are you an EDDA-Dental Assistant with 3 or more years of chairside assisting experience? Are you passionate about delivering the highest level of care to your patients, and going above and beyond for your Dentist and Dental Team? East Harmony Dental, located just west of I-25 on Harmony is growing and looking to add an experience Expanded Duties Dental Assistant to our busy family practice. This is a full-time position working Monday-Thursday 4 days/week. We are offering a $1,000.000 sign-on bonus for this position**


EDDA-Dental Assistant position is full-time, working Monday-Thursday and supporting a busy General Dentist performing a wide variety of procedures on a daily basis. Our Dental Assistants will work full-time Monday-Thursday in a state-of-the-art practice offering a robust benefits package including competitive hourly wage, bonus opportunities, professional development, PTO, and holiday pay. We are looking for an EDDA-Dental Assistant who can bring reliability, a strong work ethic, and a team-oriented and patient-centric passion to our practice.


Office Hours:

  • Monday-Thursday 8a-5 pm
  • Friday -CLOSED

Dental Assistant's primary duties and responsibilities:

  • Welcome patients into the practice with a genuine and caring welcome using the patient's name
  • Preparing patients for treatment ensuring the highest level of care and comfort are achieved
  • Select and set up instruments, equipment, and supplies as needed for each operatory daily
  • Sterilization of instruments according to regulations
  • A thorough review of patient health history and updating as necessary
  • Assisting the Dentist chairside
  • Provide any post-operative or hygiene instructions alongside Dentist and Hygienists
  • Present and enter treatment plans into Dentrix
  • Set up and break down rooms daily
  • Stocking supplies, ordering supplies, and any additional duties as necessary

Requirements


  • 3 or more years of chairside dental assisting experience
  • EDDA Certification
  • X-Ray certification
  • CPR Certification
  • Denticon experience is a plus but not required
Salary Description
$20.00-24.00/hr
