This position is responsible for management and reporting of financial data for Hill Brothers entities. Duties include assisting in the preparation of financial statements, examining and analyzing a company’s accounts and ensuring compliance with financial reporting and other standard accounting procedures.

Essential Functions Statement(s)

  • Prepares, enters and processes accounting transactions to record invoices from customers and vendors.
  • Prepare daily AP transaction uploads for banking transactions. 
  • Preparing analysis of company’s expenditures.
  • Review and processes credit card transactions.
  • Prepares general ledger entries by maintaining records and files; reconciling accounts.
  • Analyzes information and options by developing spreadsheet reports; verifying information.
  • Prepares payments by accruing expenses; requesting disbursements; reconciling accounts.
  • Follows current accounting procedures and recommends changes to improve processes where needed.
  • Answers accounting and financial questions asked by Stakeholders.
  • Researches and interprets data.
  • Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential. 
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
  • Accomplishes accounting and organization mission by completing job related accounting tasks as needed.
  • Consistently reports to work as required and completes normal work hours.

Education: Bachelor's Degree (four-year college or technical school) or Work Equivalent, Field of Study: Accounting 

Experience: At least two years of experience in multiple areas of accounting 

Computer Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Suite, Intermediate experience with Excel.

Previous experience with software programs TMW, TMT and Great Plains preferred.  


Other Requirements: Strong analytical skills.

Good verbal and written communication skills.
