We are looking for an HR Generalist that is ready to take on the full gamut of HR and partner with the VP of Human Resources to continue bringing an exceptional employee experience to our team every day. In this role you will be responsible for managing the continual performance management program, recruitment process to help managers find the right talent for open roles, coaching and engaging with employees by doing one on one’s throughout the year, present weekly to the company the People’s Corner giving updates on all things People, planning quarterly and annual company meetings and all the HR processes including our bi-monthly payrolls, annual benefits open enrollment. You will be the right hand to the VP of Human Resources in supporting and developing change management strategies for these programs to ensure employee feel engaged. You will also be helping to build the first ever emerging leaders’ program at RiskLens and the be part of the implementation of Compensation & Learning modules in Paylocity.

Performance Profile

Within 30 Days

  • Understand the Vision, Mission, and Culture of RiskLens and how the HR team supports that
  • Meet with Business Unit Leaders (Professional Services, Customer Success, Engineering, Sales & Marketing) to gain understanding of team’s purpose and begin building relationships with leaders across the organization
  • Gain a full understanding of how you can support employees by starting 1:1’s with peers on your team
  • Go through each of the Paylocity modules learning courses
  • Gain full understanding of Human Resource compliance practices
  • Shadow to learn and ideate on how you can improve the hire to retire processes (i.e.: benefit enrollment payroll, recruiting, onboarding, employee changes, offboarding, etc.

Within 60 Days

  • Support hiring managers in the recruitment process and bringing innovative ideas on how to continue to track top talent needed to achieve our goals
  • Support Managers and Employees during the Annual Performance process
  • Continue 1:1 conversation with employees to build further trust and understanding of individuals throughout the organization
  • Begin processing payroll independently
  • Begin conducting HR Onboarding for new employees

Within 90 Days

  • Begin ideating with VP HR on Emerging Leaders development program and prepare for roll out in Q4
  • Finish 1:1’s with Employees and summarize the conversations to help determine new programs to support team members
  • Complete Paylocity trainings for Compensation and support VP in implementation
  • Provide updates to HR Dashboard for Senior Leadership Team
  • Support end of year planning process

Desired Skills & Experience: 

If you can accomplish the above, you’re the HR professional we are looking for. In addition, you will need to demonstrate:

  • How you have been a Business Partner in a collaborative way to support the business to achieve their goals
  • How you have translated business strategy and goals into optimal HR programs that are adaptable to the changing business needs
  • Your HRIS experience and attention to detail; Paylocity experience is a plus!
  • You’ve been an agile, flexible learner who adapts quickly in a dynamic entrepreneurial environment
  • How you have      connected with people, maintained trust, and navigated sensitive issues with colleagues through
  • Strong knowledge in MS Office (i.e., Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
  • 2-3 years’ experience in an HR Generalist or HR Specialist area
  • SPHR certification or proven path to it is a plus
