The Product Coordinator at A-Basin assists the Product Manager to ensure that products are configured correctly in our point-of-sale software system (RTP) and our commerce sales channel (Aspenware).

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the point of contact for level 1-2 support for issues with RTP, Aspenware, and product configuration; escalate to the Product Manager as needed
  • Input data for RTP/Aspenware products with a focus on events, tickets, passes, rentals, and lesson products
  • Test RTP/Aspenware upgrades and service packs; present findings to the Product Manager
  • Assist guest-facing departments with implementing RTP/Aspenware training
  • Gather and verify product information for the online store
  • Proactively test guest and employee usability of the online store 
  • Troubleshoot issues with point-of-sale and scanning hardware; escalate issues to IT as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Experience Requirements:

  • Previous experience with resort point-of-sales software (e.g., RTP, Siriusware, etc.) - preferred 
  • Previous customer service experience - preferred

Skills Required:

  • Knowledge of ski resort products
  • Ability to think critically and problem-solve 
  • Strong attention to detail and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as a team
  • Knowledge of SQL, HTML, CSS, or other coding language - preferred

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to use a computer throughout an 8-hour shift
  • Ability to withstand high-altitude conditions

Other Requirements:

  • Must be available weekends and holidays

Work Environment:

  • This position mostly works indoors on a computer in an office located at 10,520 feet in elevation. The workspace is guest-facing (although the position is not) and the work environment can be loud due to guest interactions. Occasionally, this role works outdoors with A-Basin’s product scanning technology.
