Admissions Liaison - Northeastern Seminary
Description

The  Northeastern Seminary Office of Admissions is seeking a full-time (40 hours/week), Admissions Liaison to provide administrative support to the Office of Admissions. Intake for admissions materials and communicate with applicants on the status of admissions files. Collate admissions files in Docuware and, where/when applicable, present to faculty for an admissions decision. Run and review admissions funnel and registration reports. Schedule and manage recruitment events (ex. Open houses) and new student kickoffs. Manage the new and returning scholarship process including acting as liaison to financial aid and student accounts. Oversee new student on-ramp process. This includes making sure students complete new student orientation and have a person to answer preliminary questions. Point of contact for all data entry into the Marketing Software. Oversee data integrity in the Marketing Software to assure new inquiries and accepted students are receiving necessary communication. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and applicable experience; prior administrative, supervisory, and Microsoft Office experience required. The position requires the ability to engender trust and cultivate supportive relationships with all constituents of the Seminary. The successful candidate is observant and responsive to needs and is proficient at both listening and persuasion. Excellent skills in interpersonal relations, organization, communication, working both independently and as a team player, and dealing with complex interpersonal matters are necessary.  Previous admissions or related experience is given priority. Driver’s license in good standing. A successful candidate will be able to demonstrate cultural competence and must value the principles of diversity and equity.
