Position Summary:

The Renewals Specialist is responsible for working with the sales teams to quote hardware and software licensing renewals (including but not limited to HPE, Cisco, Dell, etc) prior to expiration. This includes managing the renewals process from start to end, problem-solving, following up with customers, and answering customer questions. The Renewals Specialist works closely with the ISR team(s) to establish parameters for pricing and other quoting expectations.

Roles and Responsibilities/ Essential Functions:

  • Proactively manage renewals expiring in 60-90 days.
  • Achieve renewal rate goals by following established renewal process.
  • Communicate with HBS Sales Teams to confirm product should be renewed and establish parameters for quoting. This could include margins, co-terming, or any other needs of the sales teams and the customer.
  • Request quotes for renewals from distributors and vendors.
  • Send quotes to sales teams and customers by established deadlines.
  • Follow-up with customers and sales teams on renewals prior to expiration.
  • Process orders for approved quotes.
  • Track open orders and opportunities. Confirm receipt of renewal certificate.
  • Effectively communicate with internal departments at Heartland as well as with customers and vendors.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Experience:

  • 1-2 years of Administrative Experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel

Preferred Experience:

  • 2-4 year of industry experience
  • Experience with quoting process
  • Experience with Cisco products or services

Required Skills, Education and/ or Certifications required:

  • High School diploma or equivalent certification
  • Proficiency using a computer and working with Microsoft office suite; Outlook, Word, Excel

Preferred Skills, Education and/ or Certifications required:

  • Experience working with a CRM
