Barton & Loguidice, D.P.C., a growing multi-disciplined engineering firm, has an opening for an Industrial Hygienist in our Utica office. 

Responsibilities include:

• Oversight of demolition and asbestos abatement projects, environmental studies and investigations, including preparation of design reports, plans, specifications and estimates, on a variety of public and private projects. 
• Working effectively within a project team consisting of group and project managers, other engineers, environmental specialists, designers, drafters and sub-consultants.
• Administration of construction contracts, including asbestos abatement project monitoring, and all related project documentation.

• Applicants should have 1 to 5+ years of experience in asbestos abatement design, construction inspection, asbestos sampling, indoor air quality, OSHA and other industrial hygiene issues.  
• Experience in performing Phase I ESAs, subsurface investigations, and tank closures would also be of benefit. 
• Position requires strong writing and communication skills and familiarity with consulting engineering. 
• At a minimum, candidates should have a B.S. in Engineering or related environmental discipline.

Estimated Pay Range: $20-23/hour.

Actual compensation may vary based on related work experience, geographical location and market conditions, education/training, certifications, and other credentials, as well as applicable knowledge and skills.
