Role Description: Director North America Channel Sales

Role Purpose:

Wasabi’s Director North America Channel Sales will report to the Vice President of North America Channel Sales. This role can be out of our Boston corporate headquarters or remote. We are looking to hire an experienced channel sales leader to manage a team of channel account executives and channel sales representatives supporting our US and Canadian partner base of DMRs, VARs, MSPs, and Technical Alliance Partners. The ideal candidate will have strong experience working with channel and end user sales teams. This individual will have a proven track record of creating pipeline, accurate forecasting, tracking key metrics and executing against goals/quota. Candidates should demonstrate their analytics abilities and be able to leverage tools such as SFDC, HubSpot, and or Tableau to drive our continued revenue growth. This candidate will have a varied background, including previously selling data protection, cybersecurity, and or cloud solutions.


  • Weekly monitor, manage, forecast, and close channel pipeline.
  • Build and execute territory plans for both strategic national partners, select emerging partners, and leverage our Technical Alliance Partners to grow our partner ecosystem.
  • Direct the recruitment and engagement efforts of new partners as needed to support company initiatives and reach defined performance metrics.
  • Recruit and lead a team of channel sales representatives focused on scaling the Wasabi business throughout North America.
  • Lead facilitator for communication between partners, marketing, product management/engineering, and senior management.
  • Drive channel partners to create demand generation activities that accompany Wasabi products/solutions on partner’s website, seminars, and tradeshows.
  • Build and execute territory plans for both strategic partners and select emerging partners.
  • Drive product marketing, and demand generation activities with partners to accompany Wasabi products on partner’s website, seminars, and tradeshows.
  • A successful track record of milestone achievement, operational excellence, and strong cross-functional skills. Recognized as a high achiever who is willing to work broadly to resolve issues in an inclusive way, and significant experience with sales process improvement.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Must have 10+ years of channel and direct sales experience working with local, regional, and national VARS, MSPs and technology partners.
  • Strong understanding of a two tier channel model and experience working with distribution.
  • Additional experience in the State, Local and Healthcare markets is a plus.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, both internally and externally.
  • Willing to travel as needed.
