As a Tactical Field Operations Manager at PICKUP you will be dedicated to the overall operational success of our new partners. You will report directly to the Senior Manager, Operational Strategy and Innovation and work cross functionally with multiple other departments, when needed. This role will require you to be a self-starter and very detail oriented. 


  • You will manage and own new partner implementation plans and daily operations during pilot phase. 
  • This will include travel to launch markets during pilot
  • Quality control
  • Assist in building supply 
  • Store visits 
  • You will be instrumental in building an innovative and unique operational solution for new partners.
  • Identifying the most optimal service model
  • Identifying and documenting all PICKUP Best Practices and the unique Partner specific modifications or alterations necessary for success
  • Documenting all operational solutions 
  • This is a high visibility and impact role, requiring you to be flexible and adaptable as no day will be the same.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to lead planning and strategy discussions/decisions
  • Define and manage success metrics for new partner launches.
  • Constantly share best practices and lessons learned across the network to drive the business forward. 
  • Work closely with our product and data partners to define clear business requirements and track program effectiveness.
  • Well versed in driver best practices and able to highlight any deficiencies


How will success be measured?

  • You will be held accountable for the first 30-60 days of performance for new partners assigned to you. Some examples listed below:
  • On Time Performance (OTP)
  • Reschedule Rate
  • Cancellation Rate
  • Success Rate
  • Damage Claim to Order Ratio
  • The delivery of Operational Solutions to the team along the timeline and to the delivery teams in advance of the pilot.
