JOB DESCRIPTION

REVELxp is looking for a highly driven, experienced individual to drive partnership revenues. As a Director of Partnerships, you will serve on behalf of REVELxp as a dedicated sales representative for Varsity Spirit (a national sponsorship partner), working closely with the executive team of Varsity Spirit and reporting to the Vice President of Brand Partnerships of REVELxp. You will be responsible for delivering on individual and team revenue goals by securing brand partnerships and executing integrated marketing activations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record as a revenue generator, for selling successful partnerships, consistently securing six-figure investments, and have an established reputation working with major brands, teams or agencies.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Primary duties to include, but not limited to the following:

  • Deliver on individual and team revenue goals through a solutions-based sales approach: execute on short- and long-term sales goals and business plans; develop and sell partnership platforms; establish best practices for maximizing revenue streams across corporate partnerships and premium hospitality.
  • Develop and maintain strong, lasting relationships with corporate partners and prospects.
  • Work collaboratively with the Varsity Spirit partnership fulfillment team and across various business lines to define unique activation partnerships and ensure the highest quality of service experience for sponsorship clients.
  • Prepare budgets and periodic progress reports to executive staff, including accurate reporting on projections and actual revenues and expenses.
  • Travel as needed to build partner and prospect relationships in order to achieve revenue goals.
  • Other duties as assigned by Vice President of Brand Partnerships.
Requirements

WHAT MAKES YOU A GREAT CANDIDATE? 

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college
  • 2+ years of proven success in revenue generation in event or partnership sales
  • Experience in the cheer space and/or live touring events  is preferred, not required
  • Reputation for professionalism and self-confidence with interacting with internal and external partners
  • Effective problem-solving abilities and the ability to work independently and as a team -- be a self-starter and collaborative depending on needs
  • Strong organization, communication, follow up and interpersonal skills with a high attention to detail
  • Able to develop and execute strategic plans that achieve both short- and long-term goals & objectives
  • Experienced in managing numerous projects at once within a fast-paced environment; time management is key
  • High level of initiative, specifically in the areas of company growth and process improvement
  • Unquestionable integrity, character, honesty and commitment to excellence
  • Strong desire to learn and grow within the company
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint and Excel)
