Client Service Representative
Description

We are an independently-owned emergency hospital providing 24/7 critical and emergency care.  We are a hospital with a strong team focus so our entire staff is important to us. 


As a client service representative, you will have the first and last interaction with our clients - the excellent communications and care you will provide to our clients, facilitated both effectively and compassionately, is important to us.  


What will you do:

  • Answer busy telephones - answer lots of questions and transfer/redirect calls as needed
  • Check clients in and confirm information
  • Manage client records, reports, and email correspondence
  • Discuss payment options, process payments, set up third-party billing
  • Take payments on estimates and invoices
  • Able (or learn) to identify “stat” emergencies with the help of technical staff
  • Some administrative tasks and data entry
  • Maintain a neat and clean lobby
  • Some flexibility with work hours

Requirements

Who are you:

  • Strong customer service skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • You like people as well as their pets.  Patience, empathy, and understanding are required.
  • Ability to remain composed in sometimes stressful and emotional situations
  • Critical thinking skills are key
  • You are a compassionate listener
  • Previous experience in a veterinary setting (emergency experience is a huge plus)
  • Experience with EzyVet is a plus
