Salary is commensurate with experience and ranges from $60,000 to $85,000 with the potential for additional incentives based on revenue growth. Lynn Electric pays 100% of the premiums for employee only health insurance, long-term disability, and group life insurance. The Service / Small Projects Manager thrives on analyzing, improving, and solving electrical issues for our commercial and residential customers.  Our ideal candidate will have a natural ability to efficiently prioritize with strong attention to detail. This person is a mover and a shaker with a strong ability to multitask, follow-up with customers, and see projects through from start to finish. Ideally, you will help grow our service department into an efficient, well-oiled machine while also effectively and professionally managing small commercial & industrial projects.

As Service Manager, you will work closely with our dispatcher to stay appraised of daily work schedules and to ensure priority scheduling service. You will assist, direct, and manage the work of service technicians in diagnosing causes of electrical or mechanical malfunction, or failure of operational equipment and electrical systems, and will perform preventative and corrective maintenance as requested. You will analyze records of daily operations, repairs completed or scheduled,  productivity and budget reports, and service tech timecards to maintain knowledge of department activities and to help manage any associated administrative matters. 

As Project Manager you will plan, direct, and coordinate all activities and financial aspects of our smaller commercial and industrial construction projects to ensure goals or objectives of projects are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters. To achieve this goal, you will review project proposals to determine scope of work, project budget, procedures  for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various project phases. You will establish a work plan and staffing for each project phase and arrange for recruitment or assignment of project personnel and will monitor each phase of the project timeline by reviewing status reports on a regular basis.  Making yourself available to confer and communicate with project personnel to provide technical advice and resolve problems is paramount.

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related work history is required
  • Applicants with a minimum 10 years' electrical project experience will be considered
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office software and prior experience with project management software is required.
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Journeyman License
  • Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen, physical, and background check
