The Workflow Build & Usability Specialist designs and executes the standard blueprint for MEDITECH as a Service (MaaS) customers. This will entail working collaboratively with MEDITECH and customers as part of the MaaS implementation process and serving as an expert for the build of assigned products through standard content and system usability. As a member of our Client Services team, your job would involve:
- Learning and supporting a subset of MEDITECH applications/workflows to perform the build for those applications in support of the MEDITECH as a Service Implementation offering
- Ensuring standard build is followed, without variation
- Mastering system set up, attained through training a deep understanding of build and overall content needs
- Providing superior collaboration skills and team oriented customer support
- Leading key build and overall milestones within the MaaS implementation
- Working collaboratively with the Workflow & End User Experience Analysts, anticipating customers' needs based on workflow assessment and guiding build toward common workflows and standard content adoption
- Participating in educating and certifying the workflow/End User Experience Analysts that will participate in the MaaS implementations
- Assisting with end-user education and live support with MaaS Customers
- Taking the initiative to research and report on various industry topics to stay abreast of trends and challenges among our customer base as it relates to the building of customer’s EHR
- Acting as a resource for the entire group
- Demonstrating superior knowledge and skills in all current releases and anticipating future changes and impact on build and usability
- Maintaining a strong level of communication with group supervisors and managers
- Initiating continued improvement and evolution standard/common dictionaries and assisting the Workflow Analyst in creating supporting documentation
- Promoting the mission of MEDITECH as a Service within the implementation group with coworkers and customers
- Providing assistance to staff members in regard to build, planning, organizing, and facilitating on-site customer visits when appropriate
- Joining Workflow Analyst staff on calls, training, and site visits
- This position requires 20% travel within the United States and Canada
- Bachelor's or associate’s degree preferred and/or 2-3 years of applicable work or military experience
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Self motivation, with the ability to take on multiple projects, conduct webinar training/presentations, and independently recognize areas for further improvement or focus
- Flexibility with shifting priorities and the ability to maintain a wide variety of responsibilities and workload
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines without reminders
- Ability to work with most demanding/complex customers and assist with escalated issues
