Job Summary:   

The Circulating RN is directly responsible to the Team Leader RN, Operating Room Manager and Director of Surgical Services and indirectly to the House Supervisor. The OR Circulating RN is responsible for providing direct and indirect patient care in the acute care setting.  They will communicate with physicians about changes in patient’s clinical condition including results of diagnostic studies, symptomology and act as a patient advocate.  They will need to perform general nursing duties as appropriate for level of care.  Additionally, they will participate in performance improvement, quality and service excellence activities. 

Education and Experience: 

• Must have a current and valid license as a Registered Nurse issued by the state of Ohio. 
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an acute care operating room preferred. 
• Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills 
• BLS and ACLS upon hire and maintain current.
