Position Description - HR Manager
Reports To: Director, Global Human Resources
FLSA Classification: Exempt
Function & Responsibility
Support the Director in all areas of Human Resources. This position is a part of an HR team including the Director, HR Generalist, HR Coordinator, and Recruiting Manager, this position will support Sarasota FL, answering questions and redirecting to the Director where appropriate. The workload is a combination of administrative and more complex work that requires someone to jump in and get the work done regardless of what is the business priority at that moment.

Serve as HR’s point of contact via face-to-face, phone, email, and virtual meetings
Partner with the Recruiter on new hire orientation
Coordinate required training by scheduling, tracking, and at times researching options
Processing new hire and term changes in benefits systems for Healthcare, Medical, Dental, FSAs and 401k
Assist employees with Paylocity, benefits, Payroll, I9 verifications, and Policy questions
Support both the office staff and manufacturing staff; become a visible part of the organization
Assist with investigations in the manager’s absence
Proactively support the Director of HR and own any additional work assigned
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required
Experience addressing employee issues
Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively in an ever-changing environment
Experience working with both individual contributors as well as management and preferably executives
Ability to meet project deadlines
Ability to know when to own or escalate an employee issue
Proactively contributes to the HR team by improving process and enriching the employee experience
Willingness to tackle all work from filing to leading benefits open enrollment with equal vigor
Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects
Bachelor’s degree in HR or related discipline or a combination of education and related work experience
Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in handling the responsibilities outlined above
Flex their schedule to support the business needs
Experience in a manufacturing environment a Plus
Experience with Paylocity a plus
Have a supportive personality with the ability to speak successfully with all levels of the organization
