As an Employee Benefits Specialist at MEDITECH, you will help facilitate our comprehensive Staff Benefits Program, interact with all levels of MEDITECH's management team, and develop strong working relationships with employee benefit vendors. As a member of our Accounting team, your job would involve:
- Managing all employee benefits, including health/dental insurance enrollment, maternity leave, sick/vacation time, tuition reimbursement, long-term disability insurance, and life insurance
- Working with staff to answer any and all questions regarding employee benefits
- Conducting New Hire Orientation to advise on benefit eligibility, plan provisions, and options
- Preparing and reconciling premium billing to various benefit vendors
- Identifying opportunities and defining problems as they arise, and recommending viable solutions with respect to all employee benefits
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree in a related field required
- Employee benefits experience preferred
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional project management and organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
