DexCare is seeking a QA Engineer, reporting to Director of Test Engineering. DexCare is looking to extend its testing capabilities with a dedicated QA Engineer. Within this role you’ll be focused on understanding how our customers use the platform and perform manual validation of new scenarios. You should have a keen eye on how to break software.


Responsibilities:

· Works within the engineering organization to determine testing strategies for features which includes documenting and creating test plans and the associated test cases for each feature's acceptance criteria.

· Must be able to create functional, integration and end-2-end test cases.

· Must be able to automate UI test cases using Selenium WebDriver and Gherkin / Cucumber, TypeScript or other relevant scripting technologies.

· Executes and maintains test cases.

· Reviews test case results and determines if and why there are failures.

· Creates well documented defects in JIRA to track bugs.

· Gray box as well as black box testing.


Requirements:

· BS in Computer Science degree or relevant work experience.

· 3-5 Years of relevant quality assurance work experience.

· Has worked with scripting technologies to automate UI test cases.

· Excellent, verbal, and written communication.

· Must be accomplished in Black and gray box testing.

· White box testing is a nice to have accomplishment.

· Familiar with Kanban, Agile methodologies and used tools like Atlassian, Slack on a daily basis. 

· Curiosity and desire to break software by exploiting design and software gaps .
