Job Summary:

Quick Quack Car Wash is looking for a driven and team-oriented assembler to join our manufacturing and production department in West Sacramento. The Assembler will assemble or fabricate mechanical parts, pieces or products using a variety of tools and equipment according to required specifications in a specific area of a production line in the manufacturing operation. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assembles machinery, fabricated metal products, electrical equipment, appliances, and more according to directions.
• Reads, interpret and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble equipment and products 
• Utilizes hand-held tools such as a screwdriver, drill, impact driver and various other power tools
• Maintains inventory of product in work stations 
• Periodically checks products per company policy to ensure quality and uniform completion; resolves any identified problems and alerts supervisor. 
• Identify product defects and complete appropriate documentation when defects are identified 
• Rework and/or repair assembled equipment and products according to engineering specification changes 
• Performs all work in accordance with quality standards and established?safety procedures 
• Maintains a clean and safe work area 
• Performs basic repairs on equipment. 
• Maintains equipment and conveyors and performs basic repairs when needed.
• Inventories tools, parts, and supplies; contacts materials handler if supplies are needed.  
• Performs other related duties as assigned. 

Qualifications and Requirements:

• High School Diploma/GED and 2 years mechanical assembly experience; or Specific technical or vocational training or certification. 
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software as necessary to complete logs or records.  
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics.
• High attention to detail and self-motivation skills 
• Ability to differentiate between colored wires, tabs, and electronic components.  
• Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly 
• Possess manual dexterity to put parts or pieces together quickly and accurately 
• Able to lift 50-75 pounds 
• Prolonged periods standing and performing repetitive tasks.
