  • Producing preserves that maintain our excellent quality and that are loved by our customers’ needs committed employees to process our fresh fruit by hand such as: 
  • Hand peeling and pitting Red Haven Peaches, Alcott Apricots, Harlayne Apricots, cutting Bartlett Pears, Fresno Chilis, Tomatillos,   Poblano Peppers, washing and sorting Wild Blackberries and Elderberries
  • Direct training provided
  • Must follow all Federal, State, and local food safety regulations as well as relevant company food and workplace safety, security, and sanitation policies and procedures
  • Must work as a team while maintaining social distancing [6 feet apart]. Face masks are optional and supplied by American Spoon. 
  • Primarily Involves sitting or standing and or combination for prolonged periods of time throughout the day [i.e. two 15-minute breaks and a 30-minute lunch break]
  • Flexible hours and days depend upon the ripeness of the fruit-typical Monday - Friday 8 am-5 pm hours of operation


  • Friendly, collaborative, committed to quality 
  • Follows and understands instructions
  • Standing or sitting capabilities 
  • Some Lifting up to 10-20 pounds
  • Must wear long pants, shirts with sleeves, and closed toed shoes
  • Other dress code requirements discussed prior to starting
  • Must always follow workplace etiquette  

Position starts upon receipt of the Red Haven Peaches, typically 2nd or 3rd week in August
