We are seeking an Accounting Analyst to join our team!


The Accounting Analyst works under the direction of the Accounting Manager and will support the accounting teams (GL Accounting, AP, NAB, AR & CC) in analyzing general accounting operations by reviewing and verifying financial transactions for accuracy and efficiency. A successful Accounting Analyst combines knowledge of the various internal accounting functions with excellent analytical skills to support the Accounting Manager in analyzing financial reports and forecasts.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:


1. Support Accounting as needed

           a. Reconciling accounts and bank statements

           b. Participate in Month-end/Year-end processes and assist in preparation of internal financial reports for management team

           c. Analyze financial information and summarize financial status

           d. Assist with external audits

           e. Prepare information for internal and external audits to ensure compliance

2. Support Accounts Payable, National Accounts, Accounts Receivable and Credit & Collections as needed.

3. Assist in the development and documentation of business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls across all accounting departments

4. Support / Lead projects for the various accounting functions 

5. Provide input into department’s goal setting process

6. Communicate/partner with accounting teams to improve financial procedures 

7. Ensure accuracy and effectiveness in all of our accounting tasks

8. Spot and communicate errors while providing suggestions on ways to improve

9. Provide relief support to the Accounting Manager during peak business times

10. Perform other duties as appropriate and assigned

Job Requirements:

  1. Knowledge of accounting principles, spreadsheets and bookkeeping
  2. Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  3. Awareness of business trends
  4. Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
  5. Ability to communicate and express ideas effectively both in written and oral communications
  6. Microsoft Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables
  7. Accuracy and attention to detail
  8. Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills
  9. Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
  10. Willingness and confidence to ask questions and to challenge the norm

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration or accounting; 
  • 5+ years related experience

 SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday; 8:00AM - 4:30PM
