Delta Dental invites candidates for Senior Digital Marketing Strategist to develop and lead marketing and product projects, serving as a resource for strategic projects and initiatives. You will recommend and map digital campaign processes related to various constituents. You will collaborate with all relevant stakeholders to develop project plans, scopes, objectives and ensure technical feasibility. You will ensure projects are managed to be effectively delivered on time, within scope and budget. This is an opportunity to lead concept development and implementation of digital marketing projects. Use your experience to research and recommend digital tools or software that can integrate or align with organizational goals and objectives. You will understand the full digital inventory and flow of all DDIA assets, how they fit together and what impacts they have on one another. You will also understand and outline marketing processes and data needs for native or integrated systems.

Essential Functions and Principal Accountabilities: 

  • Lead the development and execution of complex digital business plans, programs and initiatives which have significant, enterprise-wide impact.
  • Guide cross-functional teams focused on implementing digital initiatives.
  • Manage or lead as SME on projects related to digital assets and marketing.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget. Drive accountability, perfomance and delivery of tasks within established timelines - collaborating with business/technical stakeholders and project participants throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project and training documentation.
  • Provide communication updates to stakeholders and team members. Develop and deliver presentations on projects.
  • Identify areas of risk within the organization’s digital marketing delivery and provide input or solutions on how best to mitigate.
  • Work with business lines to develop digital strategies and campaigns.
  • Research and recommend digital best practices and strategies related to web site, email marketing, tool acquisition and digital data.
  • Lead as communicator, change agent and internal voice for digital marketing technology.
  • Understand and communicate data impacts or needs related to digital initiatives or tools.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define/develop project plans, scopes, objectives and ensure technical feasibility. 
  • Serve as marketing and sales expert to projects and facilitate project completion by self and others.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.      
Requirements

  

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or related field or equivalent work experience. 
  2. 7 or more years of related experience. 
  3. Digital marketing campaign experience in B2C and/or B2B channels required.
  4. Proven experience managing a variety of digital projects with an understanding of data and analytics related to digital tools and campaigns.
  5. Previous experience managing cross-functional, enterprise-wide teams on implementing large digital projects.
  6. Experience in an Agile environment or leading Agile scrum teams, preferred
  7. Solid understanding of digital tools, available technology, and impacts to systems.
  8. Innovative, detailed, and adaptable mindset with the ability to foster change. 
  9. Solid organizational and multi-tasking skills.
  10. Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills. 
  11. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  12. Ability to travel 10% of time.
