Boston Ballet is deeply committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion at all levels of the organization in order to realize our vision of a company, school, and community that is welcoming to all.  The Group Sales Associate is a full-time, non-exempt role reporting to the Community Engagement Manager that supports the day-to-day operations and customer service needs of group sales and community groups. This position assists the Community Engagement Manager in the planning and execution of group experiences. This position returns inbound requests, fulfills orders, and provides customer service support to all groups. 


ESSENTIAL DUTIES

· Serve as main point of contact for inbound group sales and inquiries

· Produce weekly group sales report and share insights and opportunities based on report

· Assist in the creation and execution of Group Sales campaign

· Process and mail group sales tickets

· Provide excellent customer service support and encourage repeat business

· Maintain relationships with organizations such as the Greater Boston Convention & Visitors Bureau

· Research leads and potential new client opportunities to help achieve goals

· Work with Box Office to help maintain a robust and accurate groups database

· Ensure discretion, honesty and confidentiality when handling personal customer information

Requirements

  

· Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience

· 1–2 years of customer service or related experience

· Excellent customer service and communication skills 

· High level of accuracy working with numbers

· Self-motivated, organized, and creative

· Flexible, positive attitude with ability to multi-task and problem solve in a fast-paced and collaborative environment

· Experience with Microsoft Office suite required

· Experience with Tessitura preferred, but can be trained 

· Some weekends and evenings required
