Position Description:


The Finance Analyst will provide the financial reporting for Savoy Park Apartments. The Finance Manager is responsible for planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and analysis. The Finance Analyst supports the VP of Operations and General Manager by offering insights and financial advice that will allow them to make the best business decisions for the property.


At the direction of the VP of Operations and General Manager, the Finance Analyst is directly responsible for the following:

  • Overseeing annual planning, budgeting, and forecasting working closely with operations and headquarters’ finances
  • Developing daily, weekly, and monthly financial reporting
  • Providing insights, conducting what-if analysis, and predicting trends to upper management
  • Creating PowerPoint presentations and recommending strategies to upper management on a variety of business decisions
  • Building and managing a team and working collaboratively with all stakeholders across the company
  • Work closely with Community Managers, Regional Managers, Vice Presidents, and IT teams on multiple projects
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • Master’s Degree preferred
  • 3-5 Years Property Management experience (Affordable Housing preferred)
  • Extensive financial planning and analysis experience
  • Real estate industry experience preferred
  • People management experience
  • Expert level Excel skills
  • Yardi experience preferred
  • Superior analytical and negotiation skills
  • Good communication skills – both written and verbal
  • Detail orientated
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines
