Summary of Duties

The Communications Production Assistant offers task and project management to the Communications Team as well as a Network resource to ministries and campuses around their print and production needs. This role exists to simplify and maintain complex workflows and systems, communicate with clarity and warmth to our ministries and campuses, train new hires, and be liaison and producer of print requests. This role will be successful if offering high customer service and care within each interaction. 

Essential Functions

  • Administrative 
    • Add and maintain Communications Team projects and tasks in project management tool
    • Schedule team meetings and events, submitting needed requests and reservations 
    • Process team receipts, purchase requests, and check requests
    • Monitor and update budgets, reporting updates to supervisor 
    • Execute regular website audits and manage priorities and workflow 
    • Own projects and tasks as assigned by Network Communications Production Manager
  • Print & Media 
    • Field all production and print requests, acting as main Comm Team contact 
    • Manage supplies for Comm Team and Production Room 
    • Manage print orders 
    • Train and support all new hires on Production Room operations 
    • Act as the Help Desk for Production Room
  • Weekends/Service Production
    • Track Communications Team contributions toward collaboration of sermon series visuals and marketing strategy
    • Provide support to Comm Team around weekend implementation 
  • Video
    • Support videographer in scheduling and contracts as needed
