Our finance and accounting department is looking for a new Senior Tax Analyst. Currently, we do not have a tax expert on our team, so this is an opportunity for someone who is confident in their technical ability to lead our corporate tax projects. This would primarily include the ability to understand and calculate current and deferred state and federal tax liability, follow up on state tax notices and audits, manage the apportionment process for state tax filing, monitor state and federal tax law as needed, review K-1s from various investments and seek tax credit opportunities. Today, we use an outside resource to complete our tax returns, but this could become a future responsibility. The Senior Tax Analyst will work closely with our leadership team and serve as our organization's expert. This is a new position with a lot of potentials and could turn into almost anything for the right candidate. If this sounds like an exciting challenge, apply TODAY!
In one year as a Senior Tax Analyst, you will know you were successful if you…

- understand the GAAP and tax differences
- begin to learn and become an expert in Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) accounting.
- learn about the many areas in the bank, and their impact on current and deferred tax
What we are looking for…
- 5 years plus of related tax experience, preferred
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Tax and GAAP accounting, bank, or mortgage experience a plus.
- CPA and / or MBA preferred, but not required.
