Circle of Care and Empower Behavioral Health are working together to provide quality care across a range of services. CofC provides in-home pediatric occupational, physical, and speech therapy services in Texas. EBH was created with the mission of empowering families by providing the most effective Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services, to ensure that learners with autism and other developmental disabilities reach their maximum potential. Together, these organizations have set out to provide the best care across pediatric occupational, physical, speech therapy, and ABA services.


Our therapy sessions are administered by credentialed and compassionate therapists and technicians who create a personalized plan of care according to each child’s needs. Requirements

Position Highlights:

  • Prepare an assessment of the patient’s condition and periodic evaluations and summaries, develops a plan of care and problem list, and writes clinical/progress notes on the date of the visit and incorporates the same in the patient’s record.
  • Participates in the development and periodic revision of the physician’s plan of treatment 
  • Assists the physician in evaluating patient’s by applying diagnostic and prognostic muscle, nerve, joint and functional ability tests.
  • Treats patients to relieve pain and/or develop or restore function to maintain maximum performance. 
  • Records and reports to the physician the patient’s reaction to treatment and/or any changes in the patient’s condition. 
  •  Instructs the family in the patients total physical therapy program, to include the use of prosthetic, orthotic, and assistive devices (canes, wheelchairs, etc.).

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of a physical therapy school approved by: The American Physical Therapy Association; or The Council on Medical Education of Hospitals for the American Medical Association
  •  Licensed or registered by the state of Texas
  •  One (1) year of institutional experience, preferred
  •  Valid license to provide treatment in the State of Texas
  •  Valid state driver’s license

Functional:

  •  Read 12 point or larger type
  •  Hear and speak in a manner understood by most people
  •  Stoop and bend; must be able to lift and transfer patients
  •  Hear adequately with no more than an amplifier on the phone, and to speak in a manner understood by most people.
  •  Write up to 3 hours per day
  •  Lift, turn, and transfer patient’s weighing up to 200 pounds
  •  Carry bundles weighing up to 10 pounds up stairs
  •  Lift and stoop effectively so as to be able to perform the listed responsibilities

  •  Excellent interpersonal relations skills
  •  Excellent organizational skills
  •  Ability to work independently and under supervision

Organizational Relationship: 

  • Reports directly to the Director of Rehabilitation/Clinical Director

Salary Description
$70,000 annually
