American Spoon Foods is hiring a Labeling Line Assistant for our Preservation Kitchen. This is a year-round position. NO WEEKENDS! Work week Monday – Thursday 7:30am-6pm. Holiday Pay, Sick Pay, Dental, Vision and Life available and a generous product discount. 

This position is fast paced [often working 4 hours at time standing], requires an extreme amount of focus, attention to details, lifting up to fifty pounds, proficiency in math, and candidate that is organized, and will not compromise quality. The ideal candidate has a calm demeanor, likes to work in a team, has excellent communication skills, and [as an example] enjoys working with stickers or crafting projects.  

Primary Duties and Requirements:

Labeling and packaging American Spoon products in accordance with company standards, including monitoring and recording all quality and safety related information.

Focus and follow instructions to fulfill the daily production schedule.

Maintains cleanliness of labeling area throughout shift and assists the entire team with cleaning and sanitizing daily.

Complies with all departmental rules, policies, procedures, and quality standards.



• High School Diploma or the equivalent.

• Must be able to work with fast-paced movement for periods of up to four hours.

• Must have the ability to lift equipment and products up to 50 lbs. in weight.

• Must be able to follow instructions and take directions. 

• Preferred candidates will have some mechanical and repair ability.

• Must be able to maintain focus and possess a strong attention to detail.

• Must maintain a “cool head” and display a calm demeanor.
