Installer Payroll Clerk

Looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Installer Payroll Clerk who can accurately administer installer payroll. This role will oversee all administrative activities related to payroll including processing sub-contractor labor, processing back charges, etc. Will work on site out of our Southlake TX headquarters. Responsibilities of this role are diverse, and the ideal candidate should be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Close out, print and file sub-contractor supplies
  • Close out, print and sort sub-contractor warranty repairs
  • Process and create builder back charges
  • Maintain and submit installer problem list
  • Process and pay off site labor
  • Other Sub Contractor labor administrative tasks

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company guidelines, policies and procedures, and applicable laws.  Supervisory responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

  • Prior billing or accounting administrative experience is a plus
  • Knowledge of Excel spreadsheets
  • Ability to work independently under general direction
  • Ability to problem solve and handle non-routine situations by determining the approach or action to take and interprets guidelines, procedures, policies, and practices.
  • Outstanding knowledge of Excel
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Ability navigate conflict, seeking positive, mutually beneficial outcomes
  • Ability to maintain confidential information.
