Data & Application Manager
Description

SUMMARY: The Data & Application Manager will be responsible for development and implementation of the strategy for data that will drive productivity and decision making in the business lines. This will involve designing the framework and governance of collecting, storing, and mining data from multiple applications that will drive business unit decisions. This position will also be responsible for the oversight of any application support and/or software development initiatives utilizing Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) and Software Developer Lifecycle (SDLC) processes. 

· Work with the Chief Technology Officer and Chief Digital Marketing Officer to develop data governance model, recommend solutions and implement.

· Work with other business leaders to identify reporting needs and structuring data accordingly.

· Establish, implement, and document scalable frameworks utilizing best practices and strict security guidelines to protect valuable bank data and customer information. 

· Create standards and procedures for the normalization and consistency of data.

· Provide Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for Enterprise Reporting.

· Manage internal projects and initiatives to meet deadlines.

· Oversee application support and administration using change management policies and procedures.

· Maintain application administration and access reviews utilizing least privilege model.

· Manage team of 2-3 analysts to accomplish objectives.

· Work with other areas of the Information Technology department to collect, schedule, automate and deliver data.

· Develop junior team members to help them accomplish their professional goals 

· Support the bank’s mission and vision and exemplify our core values and servant leadership expectations 

· Manage 3rd parties that provide development resources for initiatives.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

· 5 Plus Years’ experience in managing unstructured data.

· 5 Plus years’ experience managing people and processes.

· 5 Plus years’ experience working in the financial vertical preferred.

· Excellent organizational, communication and documentation skills.

· Proficient in networking outside the organization to ensure market trends and new technologies are being considered. 

· Strong leadership skills to drive and facilitate change.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Basic experience with database administration and query languages.

· Experience with software development processes and website design.
