SUMMARY OF POSITION

R2i is seeking a hands on team leader to support Analytics and Personalization agency services on behalf of R2i’s clients. The successful candidate will provide strategy and support the execution of digital marketing analytics implementation, testing and ongoing optimization for R2i’s clients.


This role will be responsible to support a team of analysts and personalization specialists, as well as work with cross functional teams to provide recommendations on how to execute on services related to marketing activity measurement, testing and personalization execution. This person will have superior communication skills, technical aptitude with an ability to make analytics and personalization concepts accessible to non-technical audiences.  


The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target and Audience Manager, work to enable measurement, test and learn strategies and guide personalization experiences in support of R2i clients’ cross-channel marketing strategies.  The role will collaborate cross-functionally and with clients to define and execute analytics strategies. 


PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Senior Oversight of Analytics and Personalization on Client Projects 

  • Actively participate and guide Analytics, Audiences and Personalization projects and deliverables 
  • Support vision of R2i’s Analytics, Audiences and Personalization service offering to encompass forward-thinking trends (attribution modeling, predictive analytics, etc.)  
  • Own, evolve as needed, and socialize client-facing Analytics and Personalization deliverable templates (Audits, Implementation Guides, Report Frameworks, etc.)  
  • Assist sales team with ownership and updating of new business collateral related to Analytics, Audiences and Personalization
  • Evaluate Analytics tools (Observepoint, Apollo etc.) and management of tech and data vendor relationships to develop efficient processes in support of the services model
  • Grow and maintain official technology partnerships (Adobe, Google Partner, Tableau)  


Expand Client Conversion Optimization and Testing Offering 

  • Help clients introduce a strategic testing program into their organization 
  • Work with clients to formulate test ideas and proposals 
  • Identify how to measure success and deliver post-test reports 
  • Collaborate with development team to build and track test performance 
  • Prove long term value of data/CDP and informed decision making 
Requirements
  • At least 6-8 years of experience in data analysis/data science 
  • Agency experience is a plus
  • First-hand experience building data analysis tools, including data acquisition, storage, querying, and visualization. (Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, Adobe Audience Manager, Tableau, Looker, Snowflake, PowerBI, or similar) 
  • Experience and comfort with data – understanding data (prep, cleansing, automation), synthesizing, and visualizing actionable insights
  • Strong presentation skills for both technical and non-technical audiences, including summarizing up to executive level 
  • Ability to bridge communication for projects and tasks between technical and marketing personas 
  • Self-driven, with the ability to thrive in a dynamic and distributed environment across multiple teams, compromise and flex where necessary, and drive solutions to keep projects on track
