Come Smile with Us!

Do you love working with data and have a passion for making a difference in our community? This is an opportunity for you! Delta Dental of Iowa is seeking a Data Analysis Intern to join our team for Summer 2023. We are excited to participate the Iowa Economic Development’s Insure Your Future program, an early-stage internship initiative, designed for freshman/sophomore students to explore the insurance industry. Program participants will rotate in data analytics roles and experience how our Marketing, Government Programs and Pricing/Underwriting teams use data.

You will gain hands-on experience, learn from subject matter experts, collaborate with cross functional teams and provide customer focused solutions. You will learn how to develop, analyze and distribute reports; perform deep dive analysis to effectively translate broad data sets into performance insight; present findings and recommendations to stakeholders; and utilize Business Objects, SQL, and other tools to mine databases for analytic data.
