Partner Veterinary is seeking a second veterinary neurologist (board-certified or residency-trained) to join our new Emergency, Urgent Care, and Specialty hospital located in Frederick, MD. Position Summary 

As a Partner Veterinary neurologist, you will utilize your unique expertise to diagnose and develop treatment plans for patients with neurological diseases or disorders. With our team-centered approach, continual collaboration with the ER and other departments is necessary to both provide and receive support. Daily responsibilities will vary but may include a blend of scheduled appointments (including imaging, procedures, and/or surgeries) and consults from other departments, including the ER.

  • Emergency ultrasound
  • Multi-parameter anesthetic monitoring equipment

  • Integrated EMR and digital treatment sheet software
  • GE 1.5 Tesla MRI
  • GE 16 slice Helical CT Scanner
  • C-arm fluoroscopy
Requirements
  • A commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine, upholding the veterinary code of ethics 
  • Professional demeanor and appearance, with excellent interpersonal skills and a positive, friendly attitude  
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university 
  • Licensure in good standing to practice in the state of Maryland or Virginia 
  • Board-certification or residency-training in internal medicine
