TALENT MANAGER
Digital Golf Collective (DGC) is seeking an experienced Talent Manager. The primary focus of this position is to provide support to a roster of talent as well as the Head of Talent and their rosters of managed talent. This role will heavily focus on the management of campaigns and brand pitches as well as the administrative tasks related to, in addition to leading day to day management for a select roster of talent. The role is vital to the day-to-day operations of DGC and its clients, as you will be the liaison between talent and brands/agencies to ensure all campaigns are seamlessly activated and seeking the best opportunities for your roster of talent.
This position will directly report into the co-head of Digital Golf Collective.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Manage the talent team, talent coordinator and support the Head of Talent
• Project manage and execute partnerships from initiating fresh opportunities for talent while also overseeing inbound opportunities with talent pre-contract phase
• Reviewing and negotiating rates and contracts on behalf of talent
• Attend and/or lead kick off calls
• Prepare and submit proposals decks in a timely and efficient manner
• Input all campaign details into accounting/tracker system as necessary / work with Talent Coordinator to ensure everything is being handled in a timely manner
• Work with the finance department and finance software to ensure invoices are submitted accurately and on time
• Build relationships with brands and agencies in an effort to secure new business
• Draft and/or update contracts and redlining
• Show interest in and willingness to highlight talent on the rise
• Run point on all levels of negotiations and proactive pitches and/or day to day for roster of talent

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
• 2-4 years of talent management experience in a related field (i.e., Talent Agency and/or Management)
• 2-4 years of project management experience, PR, or Marketing experience
• Strong written, verbal, and visual presentation communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to interact with all personality types and behaviors; flexibility and adaptability
• Ability to lead and manage teams of people and talent
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with a high-volume email/workload
• Proactive, organized, and detail-oriented work style

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
• Previous talent agency or management industry within golf/sports industries
• Relationships with talent/athletes within the golf/tennis/sports industries
• Relationships with brands within the golf/tennis/sports industries
• Knowledge of and experience using Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, etc.
• Knowledge of the golf and/or sports industry
• Traffic analysis tools experience (ex. CreatorIQ, Social Rank)
• A working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Box, G Suite, Zoom, Trello, Mac, Outlook, Slack, Adobe, and/or other tools and technology
• Shared doc drives/platforms such as BOX and Dropbox
• Presentation and design tools such as PowerPoint, Adobe Design Suite (a plus), and Canva
