SynTerra is looking for a creative and talented Program Engineer with the expertise to help our clients succeed. You should have a minimum of 10 years of experience designing solutions for contaminated groundwater and soil. Candidates that have worked with inorganic contaminants, and/or coal combustion residuals (CCR), and with utility sector experience will receive extra consideration. This position requires the ability to work independently on specific tasks and in collaboration with clients and other environmental professionals. Office location is flexible, with the potential to work remotely.
Preparation of remedial action plans and associated documents
Coordinate and work on specialized groundwater and soil remediation projects, and environmental compliance and monitoring programs
Report preparation for submittal to the client and state agencies
Conduct soil, groundwater, and vapor intrusion investigations
Interact with subcontractors
Undergraduate degree in engineering or relevant scientific field
Master’s degree preferred
10+ years of experience
Experience with inorganic constituents preferred
Strong technical writing skills
Excellent project/task management skills
40 hr. OSHA HAZWOPER trained
Registered professional engineer preferred
