The primary function of the Warehouse Manager is to ensure the accurate accounting, handling and storage of products received, as well as ensuring timely shipment of materials from warehouse(s) to customers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Demonstrate accuracy and accountability when receiving and signing for all materials in the warehouse, including but not limited to: scanning, staging, and proper reporting of damaged, missing, or erroneous materials received upon arrival.
  • Verify packing lists of large shipments upon arrival, ensuring materials received correspond with materials ordered.
  • Predetermine and plan staging areas of all materials received.
  • Responsible for proper packing, labeling, and staging of small materials received in the warehouse.
  • Verify processing materials requiring immediate shipment with Executive Director.
  • Accurately report and record data entries involving computerized technology of materials received.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment in the warehouse.
  • Other duties may be assigned by the Executive Director which may include light maintenance and cleaning of vehicles and the warehouse.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company guidelines, policies and procedures, and applicable laws.  Supervisory responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

  • Supervise warehouse personnel involved with receiving, accountability and staging of materials in the warehouse.
