About the position:
Galloway is looking for a Water Resources Engineer Intern for our Denver, CO office. The Water Resources Engineer Intern will get an opportunity to work on interesting projects and receive exposure to a variety of real-life engineering design tasks – all while receiving state of the art training, camaraderie, and mentorship from experienced professionals. The Water Resources Engineer Intern will assist in the approval and development of public and private projects within their development team. They will also assist in preparation of analysis supporting urban drainage, riverine, irrigation, and other water resources planning and design projects for public and private entities.
- Must be currently enrolled and entering Junior year or higher of undergraduate degree, or currently enrolled in Master program.
- Must be pursuing a relevant degree.
- Previous internship experience a plus, but not required.
- Knowledge with hydrologic and hydraulic software (HEC-HMS, SWMM, CUHP, HEC-RAS 1D & 2D, SRH-2D or FLO 2D, AutoCAD, and GIS) highly preferred.
- Collaborative team player with the ability to contribute to a positive work culture.
Galloway offers all internships regardless of location a rate of $20 per hour. Galloway, in most cases, intends to move Interns into a full-time role after meeting their graduation requirements.
