Job Summary:

The Branch Store Manager will oversee the St. Paul, MN store operations, meet the goals and objectives for store sales, profitability, and customer experience while managing our team of Counter Sales and Service Associates, Warehouse Staff, and Delivery Drivers.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Interviews, selectively hires, and trains staff for the St. Paul, MN location.
  • Organizes and oversees the schedules and work of staff.
  • Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
  • Handles discipline and termination of employees as needed and in accordance with company policy.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Ensures adequate staffing levels to meet business needs by establishing working schedules, approving vacation, and cross-training employees to fill in when needed. Reviews appropriate staffing levels with management to optimize productivity.
  • Maintains and motivates a positive sales team through effective communication and evaluations.
  • Maintains a safe working environment by communicating and training employees ensuring compliance with all safety rules in accordance with all company policies and governmental regulations including OSHA and any other applicable government entities.
  • Confirms daily sales reports and cash receipts; ensures monies are deposited regularly, and reports are submitted as prescribed by company policies.
  • Addresses customer needs and resolves issues, ensuring positive and long-term customer relationships.
  • Plans, organizes, and coordinates sales, marketing, and budgeting.
  • Working knowledge of inventory management principles and procedures.
  • Ability to read and interpret financial reports.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage profit and loss to maximize financial performance.
  • Uses company software to research, analyze, and track purchases.
  • Ensures that the store always looks clean and inviting.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Organized with attention to detail.
  • Works well under pressure and deadlines; ability to multitask.
  • Strong leadership and management skills with ability to motivate staff.
  • Excellent customer service abilities.
  • Ability to develop and maintain budgets.

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • At least two years of experience in store management/operations in a wholesale environment.
  • Direct experience in HVACR is preferred but not necessary.

Work Environment:  Combination of office with typical office equipment, warehouse with racks and bins, and wholesale distribution environment.

Cell Phone Reimbursement 

  • $150.00 monthly cell phone reimbursement

Travel Expense Reimbursement 

  • Employees are eligible for reimbursement for eligible expenses during authorized travel.

Pay Range: $60,000 - $65,000/yr.

*This pay range is applicable to all applicants. Placement within the range is at the discretion of the employer and is based on candidate's qualifications, knowledge, and skills.
