FlexTrades is seeking a Marketing Associate to join our marketing team. This team member will mainly be working within our ReTool Team, a FlexTrades department focused on marketing and industry advocacy activities in technical schools and military programs nationwide. We’re looking for someone who is outgoing and has good communication skills to help us continue to grow our ReTool Program. Training will be provided.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Build relationships with our partners in our industry advocacy department via phone, email, video and in-person meetings. 
  • Schedule marketing presentations with partners. 
  • Support our Public Relations and Engagement Specialist during presentations and with miscellaneous tasks for quarterly initiatives. 
  • Collect, input, and maintain accurate data, from events and conversations, in our CRM.
  • Expand current database contacts and programs. 
  • Attend and participate at career fairs and events with marketing coworkers 
  • Contribute ideas and support to the growth of the department

  • Associate degree in marketing, communications, business, public relations or similar discipline. Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
  • A good work ethic and sense of professionalism
  • Highly organized and efficient time management skills
  • Willing to travel 25% of time (typically in the fall and spring)
  • Experience using Microsoft Suite products
