Position Description 


We are looking for a creative and innovative digital maven to conceptualize and produce short form videos and motion graphics primarily for U.S. Soccer’s social media and digital properties.  This individual will work closely with brand and content teams to design and generate media that is relevant and engaging for next gen soccer fans. This individual should be passionate about content and social media, excited to operate at the intersection of sport and culture, and a constant student of creative, the social media landscape and digital innovation. This individual will work within the marketing department and manage a variety of projects across departments and National Teams, with a focus on crafting versatile, “thumb stopping” content for key growth audiences. 

Primary Responsibilities

  • Conceptualize, produce, edit and deliver shortform videos, with a specific design and production emphasis on social media
  • Develop, manage, and deliver high-quality and innovative video motion graphic design, focusing primarily on digital and social media channels
  • Bring fans closer to our players and teams through on and off-field storytelling 
  • Update templates with video and graphic elements for live game coverage
  • React to events in progress, producing video and developing motion graphics on the fly to capture and deliver social media reactions
  • Create animations for U.S. Soccer’s external digital platform, and internal programs including Referees, Coaching, and High Performance
  • Support other aspects of the production process in the Video Department at U.S. Soccer 


  • Strong proficiency in Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere
  • Experience in other Adobe applications; notably Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Understanding of social media landscape, trends, and platform-specific best practices
  • Experience producing social media-focused videos
  • Experience designing motion graphics native to social media
  • Strong creative mind with the ability to conceptualize and bring to life innovative motion graphics and social videos
  • Passion for sports, entertainment, and/or growing the sport of soccer in the U.S. 
  • Impetus to push U.S. Soccer’s stylistic sensibility while staying within the boundaries of its brand guidelines and workflows
  • Approaches project, data, and studio management with the same attention to detail as any of the elements mentioned above
  • Experience in the field with digital cinema cameras, sound and lighting techniques
  • Quick learner who can function well in the fast-paced environment mandated by sports
  • Knowledge of 3D graphics and/or compositing programs preferred
  • Bilingual Spanish proficiency preferred
  • Passport required
  • Full-time position, minimum 40-hour week with weekend work and travel required
