As one of the Southwest’s leading suppliers of audio/visual and video communications systems, our rapidly increasing installation base is driving major company growth. Position Summary

The A/V Engineer delivers both pre-sales and post-sales technical services, including A/V system design, engineering support, integration, configuration, commissioning, and escalated service. Responsibilities are approximately 50% pre-sales design and 50% commissioning. This role is based at Visionality’s Richardson, TX office.

Key Responsibilities

Pre-Sales Design & Engineering (50%)

• Design medium- to large-scale installed A/V systems.
• Create complete design/proposal packages independently, including quotes, scopes of work, and customer-ready drawings.
• Develop detailed drawing sets using established standards and CAD tools.
• Support sales staff with A/V engineering knowledge throughout the proposal process.

Commissioning & Post-Sales Support (50%)

• Configure and commission A/V systems ranging from single-room environments to multi-room combinable systems and advanced operations centers.
• Perform advanced commissioning of Crestron systems, Biamp/QSC DSPs, and major vendor endpoints.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues for installed A/V systems.
• Support project managers with site coordination, communication, and project close-out.
• Provide technical support to customers as needed.
