The purpose of this position is to provide support to the Lights of Christmas (LOC) event, from filling needs in traffic control/parking, admissions, concessions, retail, providing dinner breaks etc. This position will range in the duties and support being provided based on skills, experience, availability and current needs at the time. All positions will be outdoors and standing or walking most of the time. Weekend and evening availability a must. This position may include general event preparations and/or cleanup as well. The person in this position shall, at all times, demonstrate cooperative behavior towards colleagues, guests and supervisors. Regular attendance is essential for this position.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Demonstrate great customer service and Christ-like hospitality.
- Be flexible and willing to assist in many areas of the event as needs arise.
- Assist in providing a safe and enjoyable experience of each guest and staff member in your area during the event.
- Be alert and responsible to the duties as assigned by the LOC Leadership.
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
