Warehouse Supervisor

This position will oversee all warehouse operations for one of three segments of the warehouse. This professional multitasker will manage storing, picking and packing activities within the warehouse, ensuring quality standards are met at every turn. The ideal candidate is exceptionally detail oriented and able to track multiple facets of the warehouse at any given time.  Successful candidates will handle the daily management of the warehouse crew and provide efficient management and direction.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Ensure all associates follow policies and work rules including safety work procedures
  • Scheduling associate shifts and disperse warehouse team as needed for a variety of warehouse tasks
  • Train new warehouse personnel
  • Stage materials to be ready for pick-up to ensure installers are loaded in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Responsible for placing and locating all incoming inventory
  • Drive forklift to move inventory
  • Maintain warehouse cleanliness daily, which includes cleaning and sweeping, picking up trash
  • Enduring all associates are working to meet their directives

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company guidelines, policies and procedures, and applicable laws.  Supervisory responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

  • Supervise warehouse staff.

  • Previous warehouse experience required
  • Forklift certified or willingness to become certified
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs.  
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record desired
  • Team player, willing to follow direction
  • Bilingual preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal communication, leadership, and customer service skills
  • Proven track record in supervision of warehouse employees including hiring, training, and termination.
